We are now looking for a Retail Sales Assistant/Optical Assistant to be part of our team at Specsavers in Eslöv. The position is 75% employment and you will be employed permanently with a 6-month probation period. The start date for the position is in January - 26 or by agreement.

Your responsibilities include:

  • We do not expect you to have any prior experience in optics, although it is an advantage. You will participate in a comprehensive introductory course (practical training in-store combined with digital courses) where you will learn everything about the optical industry and how we operate. After the course, you will be the expert that customers meet in our store. In your role at Specsavers, you will:
  • Welcome customers, explain why it is so important to have an eye examination, and clarify our concept and offers
  • Help customers find the right frames, lenses, and/or contact lenses – based on the optician's recommendations
  • Ensure customers leave the store with a smile on their faces – and that they are eager to return
  • Be an ambassador for Specsavers' goal of making better eye health accessible to everyone

Our opening hours are:

  • Monday 09:00-18:00
  • Tuesday and Wednesday 09:00-19:00
  • Thursday and Friday 09:00-18:00
  • Saturday 09:00-14:00 and closed on Sundays

You are expected to work according to a rotating schedule, with shifts scheduled both on weekdays and Saturdays.
