The area of intensive and perioperative care (VO IPV) at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Lund offers surgical care, anesthesia care, postoperative care, and intensive care. Here, patients are cared for before, during, and after their surgery.

At our area at Sus in Lund, highly specialized anesthesia and surgical care is provided in surgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmic surgery, and gynecology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a nursing assistant to the surgical unit who wants to work in an exciting and developing environment with wonderful colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is driven by an interest in highly specialized surgeries and teamwork. As a nursing assistant in our operating department, no day is the same. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with many different types of surgeries and patient groups. The work offers great variation and always with a strong focus on patient safety. Emergency surgeries, where you will assist, occur at all hours of the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied under the previous or current program structure. If you have studied under the previous program structure, we welcome you with a focus on emergency care/healthcare. Furthermore, you have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

If you have previous experience working in an operating department, emergency department, or intensive care unit, it is considered an asset for the position.
