Set Sail for Your Next Adventure – Work Onboard as a Service Host This Summer!
Are you ready for a job like no other? As a Service Host with Stena Line, the sea will be your workplace – full of energy, community, and experiences.
As a Service Host, you contribute to our guests' experience. You may be placed in hotels, restaurants, or shops – sometimes in one area, sometimes in several, depending on the ship and needs.
Our Work Areas:
- Hotel - Here, you create comfort and coziness for our guests. You clean cabins and common areas, prepare for new departures, and ensure our guests feel welcome and cared for. This requires attention to detail, pace, and a sense of service.
- Restaurant - In our restaurants, bars, and cafes, you work with table service, cash register, dishwashing, and tidying up. A lot happens in a short time here – you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy collaborating, and aim to provide guests with a memorable experience.
- Shop - In the shop, you are both a seller and an advisor. You ensure that the shelves are well-stocked, the displays are inspiring, and guests receive help finding their favorites – from candy and perfume to drinks and souvenirs.
What We Offer
Working onboard one of our ships is something truly special. Lifelong friendships are created here, and every day offers new experiences. You live and work onboard for a week at a time, followed by a paid week off on land.
Safety always comes first. Before you start, you will receive thorough training in safety, service, and life at sea. Our training sessions begin in February 2026.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is welcoming, caring, and reliable – three values that permeate everything we do.
You enjoy meeting people, like to take responsibility, and contribute to a positive atmosphere among guests and colleagues. Working onboard can involve a fast-paced work environment and many different tasks – a setting that is both challenging and fun.
