Eriksberg Health Center
Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.
As our current psychologist is retiring, we are looking for a psychologist who wants to join our wonderful team at Eriksberg Health Center.

The position advertised is a permanent position at 60% with a start date to be agreed upon. There is an opportunity to work remotely a few days a week.

Your assignment
The area of work is mental health issues that do not require psychiatric resources. You will work independently with adults aged 18 and older. You will collaborate cross-professionally with other job categories at the health center, where you will have close cooperation with colleagues within the psychosocial team and rehabilitation coordinator at the health center. The work primarily involves psychological counseling, assessment, and psychological treatment.
The health center's mental health team is driving the transformation work for Stepwise care in mental health and has a well-functioning patient flow, with no waiting for assessment and treatment. Common problem areas that the psychologist encounters include anxiety issues, trauma, depression, as well as stress and sleep problems. Supervision and further education tasks for other staff may occur. In addition to weekly professional meetings, you will also have the opportunity for training and external supervision by an experienced psychotherapist.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a licensed psychologist. Experience in primary care and competence in CBT is advantageous. We want you to have experience in diagnostics and to work based on evidence-based methods.
We place great importance on personal suitability and that you have the capacity to work independently and a good ability and willingness to develop the operations and collaboration.
Our operations
Eriksberg Health Center is located at Västertorg in the Eriksberg district of Uppsala. We have approximately 7200 listed patients and about 30 employees. We offer most services within primary care, and everyone at the health center works to provide our patients with the best possible care. The wide variety from families with children to elderly patients creates a stimulating and developing workplace.
This position is clinical and currently does not include any research assignments, but as an academic health center, research and education are close to our hearts. An academic health center means, in addition to the regular health center assignment, that we have been tasked with linking clinical research, development, and education with everyday life at the health centers.
