Your Everyday Life – Strengthening Sweden's Total Defense

Region East's operations are carried out in Stockholm and Gotland County, and this position is located in the northern archipelago operations district, covering the northern archipelago of Stockholm. Your placement will be in Räfsnäs in Norrtälje Municipality. Currently, there are six operations technicians working in the district. You will work independently and together with your colleagues on the operation and maintenance of our property portfolio. This primarily involves supervision and maintenance, self-checks in facilities, as well as corrective and planned maintenance of buildings and technical installations and associated infrastructure such as heating, electrical, water, and air treatment systems, as well as control, regulation, and monitoring systems. External maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing and brush clearing are also part of the job. The role includes frequent contact with customers and suppliers. On-call duty will be part of the position. Travel, primarily within the district, is a natural part of the job, and travel within the region and country may also occur due to our operations nationwide.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• several years of experience in supervision and maintenance from industry or public administration.
• experience with SBA and facility responsibility for fire alarms.
• certification in hot work.
• approved final grades from high school.
• good administrative skills and good computer skills as a user of support systems.
• good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• good physical condition, as we work over large areas and often in unfavorable terrain and environments.
• driver's license, class B.

It is meritorious if you have:

• degree for ship officer class 8.
• certification for chainsaw and brush cutter.
• boiler operator training.
• BE or C driver's license.
• experience with backup power.
• experience with BVKF.

The position is a permanent employment, and a probationary period may apply. As a permanent employee, you will be assigned to a military position. The place of employment is Rävsnäs. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and entails placement in a security class.
