MJ Consulting is a modern and forward-thinking company specializing in CNC machining using state-of-the-art 5-axis milling machines and multi-spindle lathes. We work with small and medium-sized series, as well as exciting prototype manufacturing. Today, we are three dedicated employees in Hörnsjö who are passionate about our profession. To meet market demands, we now need to grow and expand our team.

CNC Operator/Workshop Worker

Do you want to work with machine machining of metal components? Do you have a strong interest in programming machines and a desire to learn while being practically inclined? With us, you will work with state-of-the-art machines, on exciting and unique products in a smaller company with great expertise and short decision-making paths, where you have a unique opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up and grow as a workshop mechanic. If interested, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in CAD and CAM with full machine simulation.

Your new job

As a workshop mechanic with us, you will work with the entire chain of CNC machining. You will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and operating our CNC machines, both mills and lathes, and you will work from drawings and CAD data to manufacture parts with high precision. The role also includes selecting, changing, and optimizing tool paths, as well as continuously checking measurements and quality using measuring instruments. You will ensure that the machines operate as they should through ongoing maintenance and actively contribute to improvements in both production and the development of our processes. When the machines are doing their job, you will ensure you have other tasks to do, such as preparing upcoming jobs in CAM or organizing measuring tools, etc.

The work is varied and involves both series production and exciting prototype projects, where you and your colleagues ensure that we always deliver on time and with the right quality.

Your profile

Since we are a small, cheerful team, it is especially important who you are as a person. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, proactive, and has a positive attitude. You have a good technical understanding and are engaged in your work. We value flexibility and a willingness to take on challenges, and we hope you share our belief that we go furthest when we work together!

Experience with CNC machines, CAD, and CAM is highly meritorious, but we value your personal qualities, willingness to learn, and practical skills the most.

The job requires that you can communicate well in Swedish, and a B driver's license is a requirement.

Practical information

  • Full-time position with start date by agreement.
  • Shift work may occur.

What do we offer?

With us, you will have a workplace where quality, development, and team spirit are in focus. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology and varied projects where no day is the same. We believe in giving our employees responsibility and space to develop in their roles. For us, it is important to feel pride in what we manufacture and to have fun at work. We try to go on study visits and trade fairs whenever possible to keep up with the latest technology.

Do you want to be part of our journey and grow together with us? Submit your application today; we look forward to meeting you!
