Your Role

The Deployable Aircraft Maintenance facility (DAM) is a mobile aircraft maintenance site that enables maintenance of aircraft and ground vehicles in the field. We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced engineer to join our DAM team, who will work on the development and delivery of our product, which you can read more about here. The DAM team currently consists of product managers, project managers, engineers, and installation leaders. It is a positive team with high work morale and a willingness to deliver. As part of the team, you will have significant influence and the opportunity to actively contribute to the design of the product and develop in your role. As an engineer with us, you will play a crucial role in our effort to create safe communities through advanced technical solutions.

Your daily work will be both challenging and rewarding. You will participate in the design, development, and implementation of new technical solutions, develop and test prototypes that pave the way for future technology, and conduct in-depth analyses and technical investigations to ensure the highest performance and quality. You will also be responsible for maintenance preparation and develop guidelines for operation and maintenance, as well as perform troubleshooting and provide support to users before, during, and after installation. You will be involved in the entire flow from contract signing to final delivery to the customer, contributing technical expertise and engagement to meet the growing interest in the product together with the team.

We continuously evaluate our processes and methods to maximize our efficiency, which means that this will also be a central part of your role.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a problem solver at heart and approaches new challenges with enthusiasm and creativity. To solve the complex technical problems that arise in your daily work with us, we see that you have strong technical competence. You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or an aviation technician education, or equivalent work experience. Additionally, you have:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team.
• A creative and innovative approach to your work.

Travel may be required in this position.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for specific citizenship.
