We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a good life and a better Östersund by providing the best possible meals for our guests. Meal Service is a sector within Östersund Municipality, Technical Administration. The sector includes over 80 kitchens divided into seven areas. We prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for preschools and schools, lunches for high schools, and dinner and lunch for residents in special housing.

We are now seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Fagervall School kitchen, 50%, located centrally in Östersund. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Common Tasks

• Preparation and cleanup work in both the kitchen and dining room according to customer orders. Some cooking and simpler preparation of, for example, salad buffets and accompaniments for daily meals.
• Providing good service and a positive attitude.
• Receiving and coding invoices according to current routines.
• Ordering food and consumables in accordance with applicable agreements.
• Performing tasks required in the kitchen and dining room to comply with laws, policies, and the unit's set goals.

Your Competence

Requirements

• Good language skills in Swedish and computer proficiency.

Meritorious

• Experience from previous work in a kitchen is meritorious.
