About the workplace
Ersta Home Care is part of Ersta Diakoni and offers support and care in everyday life so that our customers can continue to live a safe and dignified life in their own homes. The services are based on assistance decisions and are tailored to each individual's needs – physical, mental, and social. We also offer joint activities for our customers.
Ersta Home Care is located in Stockholm, Gävle, and Sundsvall. In Sundsvall, approximately 120 employees work, organized into four teams. The management group consists of four team leaders and one operations manager who work closely together, share knowledge, and support each other in daily operations.
With us, you become part of a non-profit organization where we see the whole person – both customer and employee.
As an employee with us, we offer a range of benefits (https://www.erstadiakoni.se/att-jobba-pa-ersta/Om-att-jobba-pa-Ersta/dina-formaner/) that we hope will provide you with the conditions to thrive at work and have a rewarding leisure time.
About the role
As a team leader, you have overall responsibility for the daily operations in your group and are a key person in the organization. You will lead, plan, and follow up on the work with a focus on quality, structure, and collaboration.
Your days start with morning meetings where information is shared and conditions are created for a good workday. You collaborate closely with other team leaders, relieving each other and contributing to an open and trusting leadership.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• leading and supporting approximately 15 employees (the group may grow)
• planning work in the organization's planning system and ensuring staffing
• being responsible for the entire customer process – from registration and first meeting to follow-up
• ensuring that all customers have current implementation plans
• being responsible for self-checks and following up on vehicle checks according to legal requirements
• maintaining ongoing dialogue with employees, customers, and clients
• following up on the economy daily to ensure that planning is on track
• handling administrative tasks such as orders and invoices.
You have a delegated responsibility for the work environment and conduct employee and salary discussions in consultation with the operations manager. The operations manager is ultimately responsible for the organization, but you have full responsibility for your part.
The job also involves handling several digital systems, including the planning system Epsilon, Medvind, and systems linked to the region and hospitals. Therefore, you need to be comfortable with computers and have an open mind towards digitalization.
Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is a secure, humble, and unpretentious leader. You believe in trust-based leadership and stand behind the decisions made. You share Ersta's values of seeing the whole person and our core values; professionalism, trust, and hope.
You are structured, have good prioritization skills, and can handle many parallel issues without becoming stressed. At the same time, you are attentive, communicative, and have an easy time building trust. You want to develop your employees based on their competencies and take responsibility for both people and the organization functioning well.
Your experience
We are looking for someone who:
• is a trained nursing assistant
• has experience in elderly care
• has experience in a leadership role, preferably in home care
• has a B driver's license
It is an advantage if you have experience with the systems used in our operations.
