Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The local healthcare area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these aim to provide good and close care.

Heimdall Health Center, along with Erikslid, Boliden, and Norsjö, forms the western base unit of primary care, and we have a close collaboration between the health centers. At Heimdall Health Center, 35-40 employees work, and we have about 12,100 registered patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a district nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

You will meet and care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in both planned and emergency care. The job is varied, including outpatient work, telephone counseling, sample collection, conversations, follow-ups, and other health-promoting work. Part of the work involves asthma and COPD clinics.

We expect you to prioritize good communication and actively work to develop relationships and improve work methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed district nurse. Previous experience in primary care is a requirement. It is advantageous if you have expertise in asthma.

As a person, you are flexible and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy working independently and function well in teamwork. You plan your work based on the health center's mission and the day's needs, in collaboration with colleagues and other staff. You are positive about changes and development and actively contribute to a good work environment.
