Experienced Drillers and Blasters for Skanska's Rock Group
Skanska's rock group are experts in blasting and rock work, executing both large and small projects across the country. We are particularly active in northern Sweden, Mälardalen, and Gothenburg.
We are now looking for experienced drillers and blasters for above-ground work.

In the role, depending on the position, you will plan and execute blasting work in rock. You may also be responsible for drilling, loading, and blasting, ensuring that the work is carried out according to our high standards for safety and the environment. - Responsible for the correct handling of explosives.
- Responsible for drilling and/or blasting in contract projects.
- Coordination of daily production work with the production manager.
- Maintain and service equipment and drill rigs.
- Work on improvements in the operation.
- Ability to perform ADR transports.

For this position, we are looking for someone who resides in or near the towns along the Norrland coast, from Gävle up to Örnsköldsvik. We carry out projects throughout the country, which means you need to be flexible and able to travel for work. Per diem applies for work in other locations.
Drillers and/or Blasters with Experience in Contract Work
We are looking for someone who is positive in their disposition and who easily sees opportunities and solutions. You often have ideas on how work can be done better, safer, and more efficiently. Taking responsibility and being meticulous in your work is a given for you, and you have a drive to get things done.
The position requires:
- At least five years of experience in drilling and/or blasting work.
- Experience in contract work.
- Drilling and/or blasting certification, ADR class 1, and experience with explosives.
It is advantageous if you have certification regarding bolt installation and rock demolition. It is also beneficial if you can both drill and blast.
Working in an operation that handles explosives places high demands on you as an individual. Good judgment is always important, but in this type of position, it is crucial. We are looking for someone who follows agreements and regulations both at work and at home, who is meticulous and has administrative qualities. Safety is always our focus, especially important in this type of operation. Therefore, we are looking for someone who prioritizes safety and has a high risk awareness.
A valid driver's license (B) is required, as well as fluent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
Safety and Health Requirements for the Position
This employment is subject to the Act (2010:1011) on flammable and explosive goods (“LBE”) and the regulation (2010:1075) on flammable and explosive goods (“FBE”). The employer will regularly, in accordance with mandatory legislation, request a suitability assessment of you as a participant in such operations. A prerequisite for employment is that you are approved in this suitability assessment.
The position also requires a valid fitness certificate regarding quartz: fibrogenic dust. To ensure fitness for the role, a medical examination will be conducted before employment is finalized. We also apply alcohol and drug testing before employment is finalized.
The position is subject to medical control regarding dust.
