Job Description

You will be one of the faces of Swedish Match, and together with your colleagues, you will manage the daily operations of the store, inform consumers about their products, and guide them through snus blends. Of course, you will receive all necessary training; the most important thing is that you are genuinely interested in the products and, above all, fantastic service!

On-site in the store, you will work alone, which means you are responsible for keeping the store clean and fresh, as well as placing orders and ensuring that the store is always well-stocked with both products and packaging. Even though you are the only one on-site, you will have continuous contact with your colleagues in other stores across the country, particularly the store in Strömstad and Store Nordby. These two stores have staff meetings, information meetings, and possibly staff activities together and share the same store manager.

As a Store Salesperson, you will act as a Snus Expert and are expected to know everything about the Swedish Match portfolio and snus in general (after internal training). The store breathes Snus and Nicotine pouches. Information such as manufacturing processes, contents, qualities, characteristics, history, and culture are things that our customers/consumers are interested in and expect to get answers to in the store.

Your Responsibilities

  • Inform consumers about Swedish Match products and history.
  • Suggest and contribute to work routines to ensure a high consumer experience.
  • Support Swedish Match's overall initiatives that lead to increased sales, brand loyalty, and improvement of market shares in Sweden and Norway.
  • General daily store operations such as ordering, inventory, and documentation.
  • Opening and closing routines.
  • Collect, document, and report consumer insights.
  • Guide consumers through snus blends MYO - Make Your Own.
  • Maintain a high level of service.
  • Ensure that stock balances for products as well as packaging and other materials are available.
  • Stay updated on current information (launches, guidelines, etc.).
  • Participate in mandatory training, information meetings, and staff meetings.
  • Report sales figures, statistics, etc.
  • Be highly present on work-related collaboration platforms such as Outlook, Teams, Intranet.

Your Background

Experience:

  • We are looking for someone with sales and retail experience (meritorious)
  • You have previously worked in service
  • You are interested in snus

Characteristics:

  • You are a social person who easily gets along with others
  • You express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • You have a genuine interest in Swedish Match products.
  • You are a good salesperson
  • You are service-minded and stress-resistant

Other

In this assignment, you will be employed by Nordic Retail Group but will perform a task for Swedish Match. The position is primarily scheduled between Wednesday-Sunday and is a part-time position that may vary in the number of hours per month.
