JOB DUTIES
You will be part of the cleaning unit in Svenljunga Municipality. It has been in existence since April 2023 and consists of 25 employees with assignments throughout the municipality's various operations. We are characterized by good collaboration, professional pride, and a willingness to learn new things to best contribute to comfort and sustainability in our premises.
What we are looking for now are three positions primarily located in the southern parts of the municipality. Each position has its own area where you are responsible for daily operations. In addition, you will also be an important part of a team that helps each other, primarily in the southern area, but sometimes also around the municipality.
One of the positions is based on cleaning in a care and nursing home, the second in the cleaning of preschool facilities, and the third in the cleaning of school facilities. They will also be complemented by tasks in each other's facilities as well as sports halls and other operational premises. We are also responsible for food delivery to preschools that do not have their own kitchen, which will be a focal point in two of the positions.
We work with modern methods where you will have access to mechanical equipment as tools, so you need to have an interest in that. In two of the units in the area, we work with cleaning robots with both fully and semi-automatic operation, where the cleaners follow up to ensure they function optimally. We also try to use as dry methods as possible and strive for purposeful and minimal use of chemicals.
A pilot project is underway in the central area where we are digitizing cleaning services, with the ambition to scale it up to the entire unit if the evaluation yields the results we hope for.
In addition to daily cleaning, there will also be some special tasks with a periodic schedule. This mainly involves high-altitude cleaning and window cleaning. All tasks are performed from ground level with the help of the right equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
A valid driver's license (B) is required for all positions.
Certification in cleaning services according to SRY, PRYL, CLV+, or other training that the employer deems equivalent is meritorious.
Experience in cleaning in various environments and experience in specialized cleaning is meritorious.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and communication skills.
