On a peninsula in the Stockholm archipelago in Vaxholm lies Vaxholm's Hembygdsgårds Café. A café with a restaurant and its own bakery. Located 30 minutes by bus from Stockholm. We are now looking for at least one pastry chef to join our bakery team this summer. Every day we bake classic Swedish pastries such as roll cake, sticky chocolate cake, cream cakes, cookies, and carrot cake, among others, and set up a substantial cake buffet.

The tasks include:

• baking and preparing various pastries
• Setting up the cake buffet
• Making roll cakes and other pastries
• Ongoing replenishment of the cake buffet throughout the day
• Ordering raw materials
• Cleaning the bakery at the end of the day

The work takes place during the day. We are open on weekends in May and every day of the week from June 1 until mid-September. We can offer full-time or part-time positions. Even if you are only interested in weekend work, you are welcome to apply. There is an opportunity to influence your schedule.

We prefer that you are quick and precise in your work, have good teamwork skills, but can also work independently and take your own initiatives. If you are creative and wish to try new recipes, there are great opportunities for that. We consider education and previous experience in the profession as merits, but the most important thing is that you have good knowledge of baking and know how to achieve good food hygiene and have knowledge of allergens.
