Technical Manager at 2nd Cyber Defense Unit

Main Responsibilities
As a technical manager at the 2nd Cyber Defense Unit, you will be part of the unit's logistics group and responsible for ensuring that both preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on the unit's equipment. You will also be responsible for modifications according to current regulations and ensuring that the technical status is secure so that the equipment is safe to use. You will be involved in commissioning new equipment and training new personnel. As a technical manager, you play an important role in the group responsible for the logistics supply of a growing unit. We also expect you to help develop both the team and the operations. You need to be prepared for a varying pace of work as rapid changes can often occur. The logistics group has close cohesion with other functions within the unit and supports them in their various operations.
Qualifications
- Technical officer
- Previous experience working as a technical manager
- Approved high school education
- Driver's license for manual transmission
- Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Meritorious
- Driving license for C*
- Forklift license
- Experience with the Armed Forces' operations, equipment, and material processes
- Completed military service

Other Requirements
You should not disclose that you have applied for a position at the 2nd Cyber Defense Unit to anyone other than those directly involved. The reason we ask you to be discreet with the information is that there are positions within the unit that are subject to confidentiality. For employment with the Armed Forces, Swedish citizenship is required. With employment comes a national and international obligation to serve. The position has combat status, which means that you must be able to handle and use weapons. This training will be provided by us. A security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment. The selection process will be supplemented with psychological tests.
Employment type: Permanent employment, a 6-month probationary period applies for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces. Place of employment: Linköping.
