We are now looking for someone to work as a kitchen assistant in a school kitchen. An important and varied job where you contribute to everything running smoothly in the kitchen – every day.

As a kitchen assistant, you help the chef with preparations and simple cooking, such as salads, sandwiches, and keeping food warm. You receive deliveries, keep the kitchen organized, and ensure hygiene routines are followed.

You work independently but always in close collaboration with the chef and colleagues. This job is for you who enjoy a fast pace, service, and creating a pleasant dining environment for both children and staff.

Pamoja is the largest provider of substitutes for schools in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and have a variety of exciting assignments.

How the job works

You often work on short notice (the same morning). You can work a lot or a little, often or rarely. The specific tasks you can work with will be agreed upon when you are hired. You will always be personally matched to your assignments (based on your preferences and skills).

You manage the job easily through our smart app. Additionally, you will have both a support team and a personal coach who supports you when you need it before, during, and after work. You work securely with a collective agreement. Of course, you will receive a proper introduction to the job before you start.

What do you need to know?

• You need to have completed high school and have training in food hygiene.
• You need to have at least 6 months of experience working in a school restaurant or large kitchen, with cooking and serving. You also need to be prepared to take responsibility and initiative and want to collaborate with others.
• You have great freedom to change your calendar - but you need to be prepared to work as you promise.
• You need to be able to work at least 2 days a week (Are you a student? Then you need to be able to work at least 1 day/week).
• You should want to be a good role model for everyone you meet at work!
