Lärarförmedlarna is the largest provider of substitute teachers in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and preschools and a variety of exciting assignments to work with! We are now looking for you who want to work as a subject teacher in Wood/Metalwork at the secondary level (grades 7-9) during the autumn term.

We are looking for someone who can transform raw materials into pride, courage, and self-confidence. A craft professional who teaches practical craftsmanship, patience, safety, and design in a way that makes students both proud and curious for more. You understand how important it is to be able to work practically in a digital world. And you have enough knowledge and experience to understand what is important moving forward. Above all, you love to teach!

How Lärarförmedlarna Works

With Lärarförmedlarna, work life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, a lot or a little, often or rarely. Assignments last from a few weeks to a term (Do you want to work on shorter assignments or just a few days? Then we recommend our sister company; Pamoja). You are always matched to your best assignment and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. It's safe for both you and the school.

How the Job Works

As a substitute teacher, your job includes planning and conducting lessons. Additionally, it involves contact with colleagues and parents. You can easily manage the job in our user-friendly app. When you need support, we are always close; in chat, by phone, or email. You will have both a personal contact person and a large network of colleagues to learn from and develop with.

What Do You Need to Know?

Our clients love our staff! Therefore, we are meticulous when we recruit.

→ You need to be a qualified teacher or have other relevant education.

→ You need to have experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.

→ You are a skilled educator who sees that the job also involves inspiring and motivating.

→ You need to speak and write Swedish (or in some cases English), and have a valid extract from the criminal record.

→ You should want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Smart and kind, simply :)

→ You need to be able to work part-time or full-time during the autumn term.
