We are now looking for a technical and results-oriented Machine Operator for our facility in Gävle.

The Gävle facility sorts and temporarily stores waste-classified products. Through our work, we enable large amounts of waste to be recycled or energy to be extracted in society. We intend to grow in Gävle and develop our facility and operations.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will gain extensive knowledge and understanding of the work at the facility. Your tasks may vary between receiving, loading materials, and in the future working with our screening and sorting plant. You are responsible for planning and executing your part of the assignments as efficiently as possible. An important part of the role is to be solution-oriented and flexible to handle both planned and event-driven assignments and to make the priorities that ensure reception and delivery. The role also involves suggesting improvements that streamline production work. You will also work according to our routines in case of deviations and complaints.

Full-time 40 hours/week, scheduled working hours.

Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.

Your Profile

In this role, we prefer that you have a high school education with a focus on technology, logistics, or other education and/or experience that we consider equivalent. You have documented experience from similar roles and hold a B driver's license and machine operator certificate for wheel loaders/excavators/material handlers. Experience in the recycling industry is an advantage, and you communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you enjoy developing the tasks you work with and have a strong interest in how your work can contribute to the company's economic and quality development. You thrive in and find it easy to work in a team but are also independent. You are structured, have good communication skills, and find it easy to collaborate. You contribute knowledge and participate in the introduction of new working methods and technologies. Integrity, ethics, and morals are important to you. Of course, you have an interest in environmental issues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
