JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in a new adventure in elderly care? Do you want to join our team of skilled staff at the most idyllic location with a lake view within Växjö Municipality's elderly care? Then we would love to have you as our next colleague at Kinnevaldsgården!

Kinnevaldsgården is a special accommodation with currently 23 apartments. As we are the smallest special accommodation within Växjö Municipality's elderly care, we have a cozy atmosphere and a family-like environment that provides comfort and security for the residents. All departments are located on the same ground floor.

As a care assistant with us, you have a strong commitment to our care recipients and actively work for their best interests. Your tasks include assisting care recipients with agreed interventions. Your mission also includes performing delegated tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, maintaining good communication with relatives, collaborating well with colleagues, and documenting effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you need to have a recognized education from the care and nursing program or equivalent, as well as a driver's license and access to a car.

We prefer candidates with experience in care work and a strong interest in elderly care. However, we also welcome applications from newly graduated care assistants. Our goal is to help you get a good start in your career within the care profession.

You have a positive attitude, show great commitment to our care recipients and the operation, and respect the dignity and integrity of each individual. You have good ability to collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. You are flexible and can easily structure your work. A driver's license is required as it is necessary to travel to and from the workplace.

To be eligible for employment, you need to provide a police record extract for verification of your own information in the criminal record (442.3) according to § 9, 1st paragraph.
