Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to provide all residents of Kronoberg County with specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. The care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

With us in the general psychiatry unit, you will gain experience with a broad patient group such as depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, obsessive thoughts, anxiety disorders, etc. The unit operates based on an integrated working method and consists of a round-the-clock care department, an ECT unit, outpatient care, a reception, and day care. We are now looking for a caregiver for the unit's round-the-clock care department. We work person-centered and see the patient as a natural partner. We strive to strengthen the patient's participation and promote the ability for self-care. We are keen to involve relatives as much as possible in the care process. The goal of the care is for the patient to return to a functioning everyday life with secure interventions at the right level of care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caregiver in the general psychiatry department, you will be part of a care team in close collaboration with your colleagues, where collegial interaction is at the core. You will be the contact person for your patients, thus having a great responsibility and high involvement in the care process, as well as in contact with relatives and possibly other healthcare providers. You will participate in the routine tasks assigned daily, but also handle situations that arise. You are expected to document in the journal according to routine and practice. This is done in the journal system Cambio Cosmic.

We embrace a multidisciplinary approach, and you will work together with nurses, caregivers, doctors, occupational therapists, and social workers, which gives you the opportunity to broaden your professional horizon.

At the start of employment, we will tailor an individual introduction based on your previous knowledge and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained caregiver/nursing assistant with a strong interest in psychiatry. Experience in this field is an advantage. We see that you are engaged in your work and contribute to a good working environment. You should have good cooperation skills, as well as the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations. You thrive when your workday is varied and rich in content. For us, it is important that you have confidence in your profession and are used to working independently, as well as being able to express your opinions easily. If you have experience working with the Cambio Cosmic journal system, we see it as an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
