Unit Manager for Care and Nursing Home Tunagården

We are looking for a unit manager for our care and nursing home Tunagården. Tunagården is located in Söder, about 1.5 kilometers from Eskilstuna city center. Here we have close access to green areas, walking paths, and an environment that creates calm and comfort for both residents and staff. The residence has 129 apartments distributed across twelve units; ten dementia units and two nursing homes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The journey of the Care and Nursing Administration towards Vision 2035 is characterized by exciting change work where digitalization and innovative thinking are obvious elements. As a unit manager at Tunagården, you will play a key role with the opportunity to truly make a difference for both employees and residents. You will lead an engaged team of about 25 employees who work around the clock to create a meaningful and safe everyday life for our elderly.

In your role, you will be responsible for personnel, work environment, business development, and finances. You will have the opportunity to influence work methods, drive improvement processes, and put your stamp on the operations. Together with committed colleagues and in close collaboration with five other managerial colleagues at Tunagården, you will build a strong and cohesive team. You will work together to develop and refine what already works and will have the support of the entire area's management group, which consists of a total of 17 unit managers.

With a present leadership style, high participation, and a focus on the future of care and nursing, you and your team will work purposefully to continuously improve and develop person-centered care. QUALIFICATIONS

Are you a confident and present leader who wants to help people grow? Then you will fit in with us. You lead with courage and trust and create joy at work through clear communication and participation. You enjoy collaborating and building relationships both within and outside your own unit. You are accustomed to working towards goals and stand firm on joint decisions. Your analytical ability and holistic view help you achieve the unit's goals. You are also flexible and adapt to the needs of the operations without compromising quality.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree. You are experienced in leading people and have previously been responsible for personnel, operations, and finances. Relevant experience from care and nursing is highly meritorious. We would like you to have experience in change management and a passion for improvement work. You see the value of preventive work, which creates clarity in employees' assignments. You can also use digital tools and actively work with digitalization.
