Are you interested in a varied and exciting role in maintenance? Then we have the job for you! We are looking for a “hydraulic technician” for the section responsible for maintenance execution at the rolling mill. We are looking for someone who wants to work with hydraulics in our production facility to ensure high operational availability. Together with engaged colleagues, the mission is to develop maintenance for more efficient production. Location: Oxelösund.
Becoming part of the SSAB family means embarking on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the planet's future and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our societal development and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges that connect our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production, and by around 2030, we will be virtually fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contributing to a green transition of the entire steel industry.
Our group is tasked with working on maintenance in hydraulics, media, and tribology, and we are now looking for a new employee who will specialize in hydraulics in our production facilities.
With us, we always prioritize safety, and your work will be carried out according to our carefully developed safety, health, and environmental routines. There are also opportunities for further education in the field, so you can continue to sharpen your skills and meet the technical challenges that arise.
This is a responsible job with varied tasks, and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in many different professional areas. You will be part of a team consisting of two planners and four maintenance technicians. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference by being involved in the development of UH Media together with your colleagues.
You will work closely with production on preventive maintenance of our facilities. For example, rounds according to a list, component replacements, and performing troubleshooting related to hydraulic equipment, that is, maintenance and improvement measures to ensure high operational availability.
To continuously improve and contribute to a safe and attractive workplace, an important part of the job is to participate in root cause analyses when problems arise in the facilities.
Selection will take place on an ongoing basis, so send in your application today!

- Enjoy challenges and can work in a structured manner.
- Independent but also easy to collaborate with others.
