As a Reception Manager, you will have primary responsibility for the operation of our reception. The position involves both operational work and leadership. You will work with:

• Check-ins and check-outs

• Guest service and information management

• Bookings and administration

• Always meeting guests with a smile and delivering top-class service

• Finding the best possible solution in every situation – for both the guest and the company

You will also be a team leader for our seasonal employees in the reception. You are responsible for ensuring that routines are followed and work closely with our store manager, site manager, and CEO to keep them updated on operations.

The role also includes supporting our site manager and CEO with ongoing internal communication, administration, customer management, and sales.

We are a small and tight-knit team where everyone pitches in where needed. This means that as a Reception Manager, you may also support other tasks at the facility – sometimes at a fast pace.

To succeed in this role, you need to be:

• Unpretentious, confident, and solution-oriented

• A person who enjoys leading others, creating team spirit, and holding the group together

• Structured with a good ability to prioritize

• Communicative and engaged

We prefer that you have an education in tourism or service – but it is not a requirement. However, you need to have:

• Good IT skills and an ease in learning new systems

• Knowledge or experience with social media (Instagram and Facebook) – a big plus

• Very good knowledge of English

• Knowledge of German is an advantage

• Employment: April–September, with full-time primarily during the peak season.

• Working hours vary and include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Mellbystrands Camping & Hotell is a 4-star campsite located by the longest sandy beach on the west coast. Every year, tens of thousands of guests choose to spend their vacation with us – in caravans, motorhomes, tents, cabins, or hotel rooms.
