Legosmide was founded in Katrineholm in the 1960s. Over the years, the name, ownership, and products have changed, and in 2023, the company was acquired by Kvarngruppen AB. Lego Smide has built its reputation on high quality and punctual deliveries. The new owners and management have brought greater expertise, higher ambitions, and an attitude where nothing is impossible.

Legosmide is going global. Production is moving from workshop to industry, and scaling up has begun. About the Job

A-Staffing is handling the recruitment on behalf of Svensk Legosmide, which will then employ the final candidate. Full-time work on-site in Katrineholm. The need is permanent but starts with a probationary employment.

Job Description

As a leader of a team of 10 people, you will play a key role in leading, coordinating, and developing the group's work. You are responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high quality and delivery reliability. Together with your team, you will manage and find solutions to any problems that arise in the workshop.

Your responsibilities also include personnel management, budget responsibility, as well as ensuring a safe working environment and following environmental and recycling procedures. You will be the contact person for suppliers and manage purchases while working with technical documentation to support and develop work processes.

Education and Certification

High school education is a requirement. We prefer that you have relevant further education in production, technology, or industry, but we primarily value your practical experience.

Experience

We are looking for someone with many years of experience working in a workshop environment and good knowledge of production processes. You should have experience as a supervisor in a workshop, but if not, you must have a strong desire to further educate yourself as a leader. To succeed in this role, you need to have a solution-oriented attitude and be able to communicate clearly in both Swedish and English with both staff and suppliers. Experience working with industrial manufacturing machines is an advantage.

Personal Qualifications

You are communicative and clear, and you engage with others in a responsive manner. You lead by example when it comes to workplace culture and values and can act uniformly within the group. You have good analytical skills, work proactively, and feel confident in making decisions regarding daily production. You are also accustomed to structuring and planning your work effectively.
