A folk high school is a fantastic and inspiring social environment where you are constantly meeting people.

Klarälvdalens folk high school in Stöllet is beautifully located by the banks of the Klarälven river, focusing on nature and culture. The courses offered in Stöllet include forestry, nature, textiles, and general studies, and many of our students live in the school's dormitory.

Here, you will be part of a team with a chef and kitchen assistant.

Your tasks

In our school kitchen, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday to Friday.

The lunch guests consist of participants and staff at the school, as well as students from the nearby Stöllet school. Your role will involve common kitchen tasks, planning purchases, cooking, maintaining the kitchen and equipment, and following laws and regulations for food handling and the environment. Good service and value-based work are a given in this role.

Your skills and competencies

You need to have training as a chef, large kitchen, and previous experience in kitchen, restaurant work, or similar.

You enjoy collaborating in a team but are also comfortable working independently. You have the ability to see the big picture while being meticulous and quality-conscious in your work.
