Your Role with Us

We are now looking for you who want to work as a substitute within the care administration in Kristianstad municipality and contribute your commitment where it is needed the most.

The tasks vary depending on whether you work with support for the elderly or people with disabilities. The work involves helping our clients in their daily lives with meals, laundry, cleaning, and shopping, as well as organizing social activities and providing personal care.

We are looking for you who want to work as a summer substitute during June, July, and August. There is also the possibility to start as a temporary substitute already in the spring. Your working hours are determined by the needs of the operations. This means that you should be able to work at irregular times: day, evening, weekend, or night. In some workplaces, on-call duty is also required.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you with your heart in the right place and who has an interest in working with people. You have a good attitude, are responsible, easy to collaborate with, and flexible in your work.

It is an advantage if you have an education in care and nursing, child and leisure, assistance, or support pedagogy. It is also a merit if you have ongoing studies to become a nurse, psychologist, or social worker. Experience in care work is also a merit. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Since documentation is an important part of our operations, computer skills are required, and you must be able to understand and express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. For work in home care, it is advantageous if you have a B driver's license or can cycle. You should be over 18 years old.

The Care Administration has an important mission: to provide support, service, care, and nursing to those in need.

Within home care, we help our clients maintain a good quality of life and stay in their own homes as long as possible. For those with greater needs, we offer apartments in care and nursing homes. Would you like to gain insight into everyday life within home care and care and nursing homes?

We also provide care and support to people of all ages who have a physical, mental, or intellectual disability. Here we work to create a daily life where each person has the opportunity for independence and participation. The Care Administration's operations target the elderly and people who need support for disabilities, as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and support for disabilities. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
