In the role of a nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you work to provide good care, service, and support to our residents. With us, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you help shape the future of elderly care. Postiljonen is a care and nursing home with 24 places, of which 12 are adapted for those with dementia. Postiljonen is operated on behalf of Vellinge Municipality and is one of the municipality's profile homes focusing on outdoor environments and has beautiful nearby nature. We work according to our values and the Live Life concept that supports a meaningful everyday life. The residence is located in central Höllviken, close to a bus stop and has nearby parking.

In the position of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions and always with a strong focus on quality. You work, for example, by helping with personal hygiene, preparing and serving meals, responding to alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on excursions, cycling, or coming up with fun activities together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a new part-time colleague, approximately 80%. The position is permanent with a probationary period. Interviews are ongoing, and the start date is according to agreement.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

We also consider previous experience in elderly care and dementia care as an advantage.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
