Job Responsibilities

As a welder at Wenmec, you will be an important part of our welded team, where community, pride, and quality characterize our daily work. Here, you will work both independently and together with colleagues in an environment where everyone helps each other succeed.

You will:

  • Work with both small and large welding details in black and stainless steel
  • Perform MIG/MAG and TIG welding (MMA is a plus)
  • Set up and program welding robots
  • Contribute to continuous improvements for increased efficiency and quality
  • Work in a production certified according to ISO 3834-2

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good knowledge of MIG/MAG and TIG
  • Has experience in programming robotic welders
  • Has experience in reading technical drawings and is used to working systematically
  • Has a vocational education in engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Has good initiative and can plan your work effectively

Meritorious:

  • Welding certifications
  • Forklift and overhead crane licenses
  • Familiarity with ISO 3834-2 and ISO 5817

Wenmec’s headquarters and production facility are located in Kil. Wenmec also has manufacturing in Laxå and in China through the company's subsidiary. The Wenmec group currently has about 120 employees.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, a probationary period may apply. Shift work is implemented.
