Store Manager
The role includes securing and following up on the operations of the entire store. You have significant responsibility for results and are also responsible for ensuring that the entire store works in a structured manner and meets the business idea and customer expectations. This also means ensuring that we follow an important part of the work is to create a winning team with fully self-sufficient salespeople and an inspiring atmosphere.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Leading, developing, and inspiring staff.
- Responsibility for the store's sales
- Optimization of store operations with responsibility for ensuring that routines are developed, followed, and/or improved in a good way
- Monitoring key figures
- Following the marketing plan
- Performing minor repairs and adjustments of frames
- Ensuring that workplace environment work is carried out and followed up
- Scheduling and daily planning
- Recruitment
- Employee conversations
- Store administration
Qualifications
- Many years of experience in a leadership position within retail
- Solid experience, knowledge, and education within retail
- Good knowledge of store economics
- Store management training or similar
Previous work in the optics industry is an advantage
Academic education in commerce is an advantage
Personal qualities
You are a person who is driven to inspire and engage employees and to create a positive work climate. You should have extensive knowledge of the industry and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have social competence and are attentive to customer needs. You are good at structuring, prioritizing, delegating, and analyzing. Of course, you are clearly focused on the customer and sales, and you are driven to create good profitability through set goals. You are flexible and willing to try new ways of working and are solution-oriented.
