We are looking for a transport manager!

We are now seeking a transport manager who wants to take responsibility for the daily operations and be a key person in our logistics business. As a transport manager with us, you will plan transports with a colleague on our six own trucks as well as plan external freight.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a transport manager, you and a colleague are responsible for planning, coordinating, optimizing, and leading the daily operations. You ensure that our members and customers in agriculture receive their deliveries and pickups efficiently and plan deliveries to customers with grain. With a proactive approach, you focus on improving and developing processes, increasing sustainability, and following up on results.

The role involves a lot of contact with drivers as well as internal and external partners, which requires good service, clear communication, and effective feedback. You will also handle administrative tasks such as contracts, deliveries, reporting, preparing materials for other parts of the business, and statistics.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to organize and coordinate transports in a structured and efficient manner. You are communicative, clear, and solution-oriented, with a holistic perspective based on the goals and assignments of the business. You are adept at handling unexpected situations and finding practical solutions.

You have post-secondary education in logistics or transport management, or equivalent experience. Several years of experience as a transport manager is preferred. If you also have experience in driving development and change work, it is an advantage.

Since the job requires both oral and written communication, good knowledge of Swedish is a must.

• Driver's license B is a requirement

• Knowledge of Barkfors T5
• Truck driver's license and knowledge of trucks
• Post-secondary education
• Knowledge of grain
• Experience in development and change work
