Background
The Stockholm region is growing rapidly, and with it, the need for housing and public transport is increasing. As part of the negotiations for Stockholm and Sweden, the subway is being expanded with new stations, routes, and increased depot capacity.
Region Stockholm, through the Administration for Expanded Subway (FUT), is responsible for planning, designing, and building these extensive infrastructure investments. Within the Southern Department, an intensive phase is currently underway where the completion of large tunnel contracts meets the planning and initiation of construction, installation, and BEST work.
At this stage, the need for coordination and structured scheduling is increasing – and therefore we are looking for an experienced planner.
About the assignment
As a Planner for the Southern Department, you will be a key person in the planning of the subway expansion to Nacka and Söderort. You will work closely with construction contractors, lead planners, and project managers to ensure that schedules are established, analyzed, followed up, and communicated in a professional and clear manner.
Your responsibilities will particularly include:
- Supporting the construction contractor with the establishment and reconciliation of schedules for construction production.
- Conducting analyses, risk assessments, and time management related to parallel contracts.
- Presenting and visualizing schedules for the project organization and management.
- Training both the client organization and contractors in planning methodology and tools.
- Contributing to the development and strengthening of routines and strategies for time management.
- Actively creating awareness of time-critical moments and driving issues related to foresight.
- Collaborating closely with the department's lead planner and being part of a dedicated planning function.
You will also participate in conferences, training sessions, and internal meetings deemed mandatory for the assignment.
Schedule and conditions
- Start: December 21, 2025
- End: December 31, 2027
- Extension: Possible 1 + 1 year according to existing contract terms.
- Only one (1) consultant may be offered per supplier.
- The work will primarily be performed at the office in Hammarby Sjöstad or at construction sites. Some remote work may be permitted upon approval.
- A computer and workplace will be provided by the administration.
Upon contracting, a signed confidentiality agreement (via Magnit) is required. The consultant may also be contacted for personal data for onboarding purposes.
Requirements specification
Mandatory requirements
To fill the assignment, the consultant must:
- Have documented experience in scheduling for larger construction or infrastructure projects.
- Be proficient in Primavera P6 and PPM Core at an advanced level.
- Have previous experience in the development, analysis, coordination, and follow-up of schedules.
- Be able to train and support both the client organization and contractors in planning tools and methodology.
Remember:
Compliance with requirements must be reported in the requirements specification (Excel) with yes/no, description, and reference to where in the CV/profile the experience can be found.
