During the summer period from June to August, we need your help when our regular staff goes on vacation. We are therefore looking for a number of truck drivers who can support the operations during the summer.

You will increase your driving experience, and since we have staff for loading and unloading, you will not need to handle the cargo. In our new facilities in Junosuando, you have the opportunity to eat and take breaks together with your colleagues. Access to showers and a sauna is available. The truck units you will be driving are new Volvo Aero, 700 hp, 5-axles with SLP superstructure and a 5-axle trailer. You will be driving Europe's heaviest units – 90 tons total weight.

Job Responsibilities

You will transport ore from Kaunisvaara to Pitkäjärvi. Drive vehicle units consisting of heavy trucks with heavy trailers (90 tons total weight with weight exemption) for Kaunis Iron Logistik AB. The transports of iron ore concentrate go from the processing plant in Kaunisvaara to the transshipment terminal in Pitkäjärvi near Svappavaara. Our operations are based in Junosuando.

Education and Qualifications

Valid driver's license and YKB for heavy truck with heavy trailer (CE), holder of a digital driver's card for tachographs. It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a driver with heavy trucks with heavy trailers, worked as a bus driver, or driven ore transports. A personal car is not required, but you must be able to get to and from work.

Employment Conditions

Temporary position during regular staff's vacation with the possibility of extension. Monthly salary according to collective agreement with the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
