Locks nowadays are not just locks. There has been a generational shift in our industry; a new generation of people and products has built the modern security company that today delivers security to us all.

Manufacturing keys and opening locks is all well and good, but what most people know about a locksmith has changed to now involve larger solutions for technical challenges.

What Låsassistans technicians can do today can be compared to a range of different jobs that have now been gathered under one roof. For example, we program code locks via IP addresses, we control computers that manufacture keys, we perform lock work in wooden doors that resemble a carpenter's work, we create hidden pathways inside doors and walls for the cabling of modern locks, we are the ones who make a door open automatically in front of you, and we connect electrical relays that start a sequence of several automated functions.

But we do not forget our roots; we still proudly handle a hammer, a vice, a file, and create, for example, an old key that cannot be made with modern technology today.

We work with a wide range of products including locks, code locks, access systems, alarms, camera surveillance, door automation, burglary protection, and fire protection. Our customers, with whom you will have daily contact, have often been by our side for over a decade. The daily relationships and tasks should make the workday enjoyable, and together we will create results.

What does this job require of you?

You will encounter new events every day that need to be solved within a timeframe. You will receive small and large assignments and work within our system; you have full control over your assigned projects, initially small, and ensure they are completed. You are good at preparing for each day and all assignments to ensure you are as prepared as possible for the day's challenges. You plan as far as possible based on the conditions you have. You keep your tools organized and are good at creating a daily routine that makes you optimal for our profession.

You will also work practically with the manufacturing of lock cylinders and keys in our store & lock workshop with locks. You have a good memory and enjoy absorbing information. You understand that the regulations we work under take precedence over individual solutions.

You obviously have a B driver's license as you will be assigned a work vehicle.

Our brand new store and office are located in Sköndal Centrum. Here you will be accompanied by a lovely small group of people. We aim for a positive atmosphere and a team spirit beyond the ordinary.

For this role, it is advantageous if you have experience in the lock industry and good product knowledge in locks and security.
