As a Automation Engineer with us, you will be the hub between operations, IT infrastructure, and production. You will develop, configure, and optimize SCADA systems, PLC solutions, and data collection that drive our customers' facilities forward.

Examples of daily tasks

Design & Development

Build and configure views and images, tags, alarms, reports, and dashboards in various SCADA systems.

Integration

PLC, sensors and transmitters, historians and databases SQL and Time series, manage protocols such as OPC UA, etc., as well as native drives.

Commissioning

Lead FAT/SAT tests, ensure pre-study specifications, and document results.

Support & Optimization

Troubleshoot SCADA and PLC. Optimize processes by listening to customer needs and suggesting improvements.

Collaboration

Work cross-functionally with production, IT, and external suppliers.

We think you have

• Experience in automation, electrical engineering, or industrial IT.

• Practical experience with SCADA platforms such as Ignition, iFIX, WinCC, zenon, Iconics, System Platform, or similar.

• Good knowledge of PLC programming such as Siemens TIA and Step 7, ABB, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff TwinCAT, etc.

• Familiarity with industrial networks such as EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.

• Experience handling databases (SQL, historian).

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of other Scandinavian languages is a plus.

• Swedish citizen.

• Valid driver's license B for passenger cars.

Desirable qualities

• Knowledgeable in scripting/programming such as Python, VBA, C#, etc.

• Experience with container/cloud solutions for OT environments.

• Understanding and experience with NIS2, IEC-62443, standards such as ISA-95.

• Experience with DCS systems and controllers such as ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS7/NEO.

• Experience with VA operator, AquaView, Plant SCADA, or Cactus.

• Experience with various HMI panels.
