You & Us & The Job

As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find the way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from rural areas to cities. We are working purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be an important part of this by, among other things, being trained in eco-driving. Together, we are working towards becoming fossil-free by 2030.

This position is a temporary employment with a full-time workload of 100%. The employment starts immediately and lasts until week 18. Your working hours will be scheduled during the day and one afternoon/evening per week - Monday to Friday. There is a good chance of extension after the temporary position ends. You will be based at Lovartsgatan 3, 652 21 Karlstad.

• Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
• Meeting our customers where they are, whether they are agents, private or business customers.

Who You Are

• Curious and self-driven: A large part of the job is done alone, but teamwork is important.
• Patient & secure: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You maintain balance.
• Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are keywords. So is order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
• Physically fit: Yes, you are sitting during the journey, but you need to be able to exert yourself during pick-up and delivery. For this, you need to have good strength and mobility.
• Adaptable: Unplanned events require flexibility.
• Service-oriented: Customer relationships need the right attitude and feel.
• You are unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.

What You Bring

• High school diploma
• Driver's license B and experience driving a car
• Swedish spoken and written
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to find solutions
