At Svevia, we combine the community and team spirit of a small company with the stability of a large corporation. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist - with commitment, collaboration, and responsibility.

Your mission as a site manager

In the role of site manager for operations and maintenance, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up of our clients' assignments.

However, the work may also include various projects focusing on our operations and maintenance work. The role involves contact with both internal and external parties as you are responsible for the business from start to finish. The work is primarily office-based, and you will have an important leadership role for our skilled workers and subcontractors. You ensure deliveries from initiating and starting projects to invoicing and follow-up of the work. In between, tasks such as cost estimation, establishing traffic plans, and other ongoing administration are included.

With us, you will have the opportunity to combine operational responsibility with strategic planning while ensuring that your projects achieve set goals with high customer satisfaction.

Our establishment in Western Värmland spans a larger region, so travel to project workplaces will occur. The position is administrative, which you are fully comfortable with.

The position is full-time. You will be based at our establishment in Arvika and report to the site manager. The position includes both winter and summer preparedness. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. Start date according to agreement.

Who are you?

To be considered for the position, we would like you to have:

  • A background characterized by an interest in working on roads. This interest can come from either education or work experience in a responsible role within the industry.
  • A valid driver's license (B).
  • Very good computer skills and an interest in digital working methods and processes.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working as a site manager or in a similar role within the industry.

As a person, you are business-minded, secure, and have a strong sense of responsibility. You are engaged in your work and have excellent collaboration skills, which positively contribute to the team. Your social competence allows you to easily make contacts and build long-term relationships, and with your customer focus, you ensure that every customer has the best possible experience. Initiative and flexibility are two of your strengths, enabling you to quickly adapt to changes and new challenges. You thrive best in a varied everyday life and have the ability to quickly identify what needs to be prioritized.

We are looking for someone with the right willingness, who can grow and develop together with us! We warmly welcome your application today!

Part of something bigger

Svevia is currently Sweden's largest operation contractor. In operations and maintenance, we manage summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state's road network. Many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to take care of their roads and outdoor environments.

With us, you contribute to a larger whole. We plow for the family heading to the mountains. We ensure that the business's goods transport reaches its destination and keep streets, squares, and parks clean and tidy. Additionally, we protect lives on the road through our offerings in traffic arrangements.
