As an Operations Technician at Eksjö Energi

As an operations technician, you will work in an efficient team of six people, with one based in the eastern parts of Eksjö and the others based at the Eksjö Treatment Plant. You will work freely but in a structured manner, ensuring that the water and sewage facilities in Eksjö municipality are managed, maintained, and operated optimally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operations technician, your daily tasks will include:

• Being part of the daily operations.
• Performing preventive maintenance on water and sewage facilities such as treatment plants, waterworks, water reservoirs, and pumping stations according to established routines.
• Checking devices and being responsible for the repair of equipment.
• Purchasing consumables and equipment.
• Carrying out work during planned and unplanned operational disruptions.

The position involves some solitary work, but teamwork is also required. The role includes on-call duties. Personal suitability will be highly valued. Reporting will be to the head of water and sewage operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed and thrive in this role, you should have the following:

• High school education in plumbing, heating, or electricity. Or similar practical training in technology and/or operations.
• Good computer skills.
• Very good Swedish in both spoken and written form and a B driver's license.
• Communication skills and technical competence/interest
• Ability to collaborate

The following skills/experiences are advantageous:

• Vocational training in water and sewage or energy.
• Experience from municipal water supply, automation electrician, service technician, or similar jobs focused on the operation and maintenance of facilities.
