Service Mechanic at JOAB in Gothenburg

JOAB is a leader in the truck superstructure industry in the Nordic region. They develop, manufacture, and sell lift dumpers, load carriers, fixed platforms with cranes, the market's smartest shift system Cameleont, and garbage trucks. JOAB is also an exclusive distributor of HMF cranes in Sweden and Finland. Their customers include private and municipal recycling contractors, transport companies, truck manufacturers, truck dealers, and other superstructure builders. More than 50 years of experience in the industry has given them extensive knowledge in the field.

JOAB is currently looking to expand its team and is seeking competent service mechanics for their workshop in Gothenburg. As a mechanic, you will work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of JOAB's superstructures such as load carriers, lift dumpers, cranes, and garbage trucks. The work involves problem-solving in mechanics, hydraulics, control & regulation, and vehicle electronics. You will primarily work in their workshop, but fieldwork may also occur.

The position is full-time, and you will work in two shifts. The working hours are scheduled every other week from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 and every other week from Monday to Thursday from 14:30 to 23:00. The position is planned to start immediately or by agreement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in vehicle electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics
• Has several years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience in the truck industry
