Workshop Manager at BJ Industrimateriel AB

Welcome to BJ Industrimateriel!

We are looking for a workshop manager with basic knowledge of process pumps for applications in the paper and pulp industry, and we seek someone who wants varied tasks with a broad area of responsibility.

Who are we?

BJ Industrimateriel AB is a well-established company that started in 1965. In 1990, we began selling pumps and spare parts. Today, we are a respected and renowned supplier within the process industry, delivering both new and used pumps to almost all Swedish paper and pulp mills and partially out into Europe. The company is unique in its way of working by storing used parts, allowing us to respond quickly to demand.

Job Responsibilities

As a workshop manager with us, your main responsibilities will include:

• Daily responsibility for the workshop and its operations
• Assembly and disassembly of pumps
• Renovation of used pumps and spare parts
• Maintenance and service of vehicles and machinery
• Repairs and maintenance of buildings

Who are you?

• Have documented experience in workshop work with process pumps
• Have experience in welding
• Are meticulous, solution-oriented, and service-minded
• Possess a good ability to independently plan your own work
• Hold a forklift license and a B driver's license

Basic knowledge of mechanical seals and bearing assembly is an advantage.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date by agreement.
