About the Company

Over the years, our strength has been our flexibility to adapt to various applications, with the aim of always providing the right solution for each individual customer's needs.

The company is located in central Karlstad and has its roots back to the 1950s, when it was in the same premises as today. Until 2003, KMAB (Karlstad Metallisering AB) operated under the name KAMAB. Today, we are proud to have 10 employees who work to maintain our high standards and customer service.

Our facilities span 2500 square meters divided into machine workshop, metallization, teflonization, balancing hall, and blasting hall. With our large forklifts, we easily load and unload trucks. Our largest forklift has a capacity of up to 16 tons. We also have overhead cranes with a capacity of 10 tons, and mobile equipment for thermal spraying.

Your Responsibilities

Are you technically inclined, meticulous, and enjoy working with your hands? We are now looking for a committed and experienced workshop worker who specializes in support turning and cylindrical grinding and wants to become an important part of our positive team!

About the Position

With us, you will have a varied and developing job where you will:

Set up and operate support lathes
Process components of varying sizes – from small parts to workpieces up to 10 meters long
Perform cylindrical grinding and other precision work
Document and stamp work orders
Work with both new production and repairs

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

Has several years of experience in turning
Has good knowledge of support bearings, four-jaw chucks, and the use of dial indicators
Is technically interested and a quick learner
Is meticulous, responsible, and has a positive attitude
Has forklift and overhead crane licenses as well as a valid certificate for hot work (meritorious)
