Description

Our client is now seeking two mechanical designers to strengthen a scrum team working with special equipment.

As part of the team, you will work on developing and improving technical solutions used in production and installation. The role offers a varied and dynamic work environment where you will work closely with several functions and contribute to ensuring efficiency and quality in design and construction.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include:

• Design and specification of construction equipment.
• Development, testing, and evaluation of theoretical design solutions.
• Supporting the organization by creating layouts, specifications, and budgets.
• Assisting with mechanical installation of equipment in the test hall and on-site.
• Troubleshooting issues in the field and/or during production.
• Driving smaller PLC activities.
• Working with Creo and the release process in PDMLink.
• Participating in assessments of compliance documents (safety, hygiene, food contact).
• Collaborating closely with Test, Automation, Technical Publication, Supply Chain, and Service Engineers.

Qualifications

To fit the role, we believe you have experience in:

• Robust design and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Using Creo and PDMLink.
• Creating drawings and testing assembly.

It is an advantage if you also have experience in:

• Tetra Pak or similar companies in the industry.
• Filling machines.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Simulations and verifications.
• GPS tolerance (Geometrical Product Specifications).
