Object Manager for E-health/MIT
In Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all walks of life. We make each other better.
E-health/MIT
E-health/MIT is part of the health and medical care administration and is responsible for the management of healthcare IT systems.
We create value for both healthcare and patients through efficient, sustainable, and secure digital services. We manage, for example, medical record systems, imaging systems, and digital resident services such as Always Open.
We are looking for an Object Manager
We are looking for an object manager who wants to contribute to ensuring that healthcare's digital systems function smoothly and securely for healthcare personnel. As an object manager, you will play a key role in connecting the needs of healthcare with technological development. We believe you have a genuine interest in technology, enjoy troubleshooting, and testing solutions. You will be an important link between healthcare operations, IT, medical technicians, and system suppliers.
Your Responsibilities
As an object manager with us, you will have a broad and varied role where you will help manage and develop our digital healthcare systems. You will be part of a working group that works broadly with many different healthcare systems, such as the ambulance medical record system, surgical planning system, out-of-region billing system, and the dental care medical record system. The role requires both technical interest and the ability to collaborate with many different professional groups.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Lifecycle management: participate in procurement and requirements work, management, and decommissioning of systems.
- Ongoing management: central settings in the systems.
- Support and user assistance: provide guidance and support to healthcare personnel. Develop routines and guidelines for system usage.
- Troubleshooting: manage operational disruptions and coordinate actions together with IT and suppliers.
- Improvement work: compile and prioritize development requests.
- Training: develop training materials, lead training sessions and information meetings.
- System updates and testing: plan, coordinate, and implement updates and changes in the system.
- Collaboration with suppliers and other regions: maintain regular contact with external suppliers and regional and national partners.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in areas such as systems science, IT, healthcare, or another relevant field. Experience from the healthcare sector is advantageous, as the role requires an understanding of healthcare-related concepts and the ability to quickly grasp the user's perspective. Knowledge of referral flows and processes for out-of-region care is particularly valuable.
It is also advantageous if you have worked with administration in healthcare systems or financial systems. Knowledge of database management (for example, Access), user training, support, or other system management is beneficial.
You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as manuals and support are provided in Swedish. You also need to be proficient in English in both spoken and written form.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have a strong interest in technology and digitalization, are curious, and want to develop in your role. You take responsibility for your professional development and have the ability to independently acquire new knowledge. You dare to express your opinions, even in larger contexts, and contribute valuable perspectives on how healthcare can be developed and digitized. You collaborate well, are attentive, and contribute to a positive work environment.
We believe you are proactive and solution-focused, that you take responsibility, are curious, and drive work forward. You also have strong collaborative skills, work smoothly with different professional groups, and thrive in both teamwork and projects.
