We are now looking for nursing assistants and caregivers for summer temporary positions in our operations in Region Halland South (Halmstad and Falkenberg) – are you one of our new employees for the summer of 2026?

About the Job

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you can use and develop your nursing skills.

• You will work closely with patients and become an important part of a team.
• The tasks vary, including nursing work and sample collection.
• You will meet patients with different needs, illnesses, and diagnoses – a chance to broaden your competence.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• an educated nursing assistant or caregiver (psychiatry)
• a nursing student (preferably completed semester 3 by summer 2026, but individual assessments can be made after semester 2 with approved internship. Other relevant experience may be meritorious and considered in the evaluation.)
• a medical student (completed semester 6 by summer 2026. Other relevant experience may be meritorious and considered in the evaluation.)

For work in psychiatry, you can also apply if you are studying to become a psychologist, social worker, or treatment assistant.

• have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team
• are responsible and have good collaboration skills
• can communicate well with patients, relatives, and colleagues

• As of July 1, 2023, Nursing Assistant is a protected professional title, read more on the Socialstyrelsen website (https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/underskoterska-blir-en-skyddad-yrkestitel/). This means that if you have not applied for a protected professional title or do not meet the requirements to hold the position of Nursing Assistant, you will receive the title of Healthcare Assistant or Nursing Assistant.
• Be sure to specify any internships and work experience in your application. It is also important that you attach your diploma. If you have not yet completed your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.
• For those who meet our basic requirements, we will first contact your references to ensure a quick and efficient recruitment process. We use digital reference checking via Refensa.
• For those who are considered for employment in Psychiatry, the Child and Adolescent Clinic, and the Acute Clinic, the employer will request a criminal record extract (which you must request from the Police) before deciding on possible employment, based on the Law (2013:852) on background checks of persons working with children.
