About the Job

Ikett Personalpartner is now looking for a machine builder, mechanical assembler for one of our clients in Skurup municipality.

You may have previously worked as an assembler (mechanical) or machine builder? Or perhaps you have worked as a service technician who would prefer to build your own machines instead of repairing others? Do you also thrive in an exciting and varied job? Then we have the position for you!

In your work, you will be involved in mechanical assembly and auxiliary equipment for the machines. You will be part of the entire process from production in the company’s own facilities to installation at the customer’s site. Workshop tasks such as bending, cutting, and sawing are also included in your work. Some cable routing may also occur.

Your main workplace will be in the company’s facilities, but there will also be travel to customers mainly in southern and central Sweden.

Working hours are during the day, but travel with overnight stays may occur. Start date is according to agreement.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently. You are handy and have a good technical understanding. As a person, we see that you are driven and have good problem-solving skills. You enjoy working in a team, where your colleagues describe you as a good and helpful coworker.

We believe that you have completed an education in the industrial program, and/or with a mechanical/machine engineering focus.

Furthermore, we see that you:

Have a broad knowledge and experience of workshop work. You are used to working with various types of tools such as grinding and cutting machines, drilling machines, threading, and sheet metal processing.
Have experience in mechanical assembly.
Are technically interested and have knowledge and experience in reading technical drawings.

It is advantageous to have:

Welding skills
BE license
Forklift license
Elevator license
