Unit Manager for the Service Unit

The Service Unit is part of the Health and Care Administration. We make everyday life easier for individuals who need support at home. We shop, clean, and do laundry primarily for elderly individuals who receive home care. The mission frees up time for the nursing assistants in home care so they can focus on care. This creates security for the users and ensures quality throughout the chain. We are now looking for someone to lead this important work in the role of unit manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead approximately thirty employees who work in many homes every day. Together, they create a stable and caring operation. You establish clarity, structure, and security in a fast-paced environment with many meetings. The role includes responsibility for personnel, finances, and operations, as well as continuous quality work that strengthens the security for users.

Two team leaders handle planning, scheduling, and new cases. They receive your support in planning and scheduling to ensure smooth operations. This also includes active change management where you drive development forward with attentive and courageous leadership. Collaboration with home care managers, coordinators, and caseworkers is an important part of everyday life and contributes to shared working methods and a strong holistic perspective. You drive development issues and ensure that the operation remains stable, service-oriented, and professional. You handle personnel matters and rehabilitation processes with security and integrity.

You will be part of the area's management team along with eleven other unit managers. Here, you will receive collegial support, close dialogue, and a manager who wants you to develop. Together, you will drive an area where courage, responsibility, and care guide every decision.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have an academic education suitable for the role or another educational background combined with the experience we seek. You have at least two years of experience as a manager with full responsibility for personnel, finances, and operations. Leading through change appeals to you, and you express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have a B driver's license and feel comfortable working in an environment with many employees. Experience from a similar service operation within care, cleaning, logistics, or other service areas is highly meritorious, as is experience handling multiple rehabilitation cases.
