At Scandic Järva Krog, you will work in a modern and accessible hotel environment close to both the city and nature. The hotel is strategically located by E4/E18 and is easily reachable by Flygbussarna, while Mall of Scandinavia, Strawberry Arena, and the expansive Solna Business District are within walking distance.

With us, you are responsible for ensuring that property operations run according to plan and that the hotel meets all property-related regulatory requirements. In this role, you will lead a technician while also spending about half of your working hours practically overseeing, maintaining, and performing corrective maintenance.

You are part of the property organization, which means close collaboration with property owners, the General Manager, various hotel departments, and suppliers.

Your official title with us will be Property Manager, and you will be responsible for:

• Practical oversight, maintenance, and corrective maintenance
• Leading a technician in the daily operations of the property department
• Developing and ensuring that the operation and maintenance plan is updated and followed
• Systematic fire protection work
• Facility manager for fire alarms
• Leading and participating in property projects
• Safety work according to Scandic Standard
• Coordinating, planning, and following up on subcontractors
• Being part of the hotel's crisis group
• Being part of the hotel's leadership group

Candidate Profile

You are service-oriented, solution-focused, unpretentious, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will need to make quick decisions and have the drive to solve unpredictable situations. You should have good collaboration skills as we work in a team and together with other departments in the hotel. Since the work often occurs in booked hotel rooms or guest areas, you must have good social skills and a respectful approach towards our guests.

You have:

• Previously worked as a technician and/or technical manager in property
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Experience with various control and regulation systems
• Experience as a fire protection officer
• Experience as a facility manager for fire alarms/sprinklers
• Experience in safety work
• Good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite / Microsoft 365
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have worked with property management in a hotel environment.
