About the position

As a Setter and Technician at Emballator Lagan AB in Ljungby, you will play a central role in production where you are responsible for preparing and executing tool changes as well as setting up the production equipment used in our manufacturing. You ensure that quality checks are carried out before production transitions to ongoing operations. In case of machine stoppage, you troubleshoot and resolve the issue or hand over to Production Support if larger interventions are needed. You also support our machine operators and operators in their daily work and contribute to their development and learning. If necessary, you will step in as a machine operator yourself. You are part of our production team and report to our production leaders. Working hours are scheduled for two shifts or night shifts with the possibility of weekend work according to a rotating schedule. We are looking for someone who is primarily available for two shifts or night work.

About you

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a setter or technician and preferably has worked in the injection molding industry, but this is not a requirement. You have a technical interest and good problem-solving skills and enjoy working in a team where you are an active part of the collaboration. You are flexible and easily adapt to changes in production. As a person, you are responsible, curious, and contribute to a positive and developing work environment where we share knowledge and help each other move forward.
