Hyltebostäder (https://www.hyltebostader.se/om-oss/) is a housing foundation established in 1974 by Hylte municipality with the mission to promote housing supply in the municipality. The company owns and manages approximately 530 residential units and premises covering 5,300 m². In addition to housing operations, Hyltebostäder is responsible for district heating distribution to 278 connection points in Hyltebruk, Unnaryd, and Landeryd, as well as managing the municipality's operational properties with a total area of approximately 68,700 m².

Hyltebostäder contributes to the municipality's development by owning, managing, building, and divesting housing and premises in a long-term and sustainable manner, delivering district heating on a commercial basis, and managing the municipality's premises with a focus on quality, economy, and service.

Hyltebostäder contributes to the municipality's development by owning, managing, building, and divesting housing and premises in a long-term and sustainable manner. We also deliver district heating to both our own and external properties, and we are responsible for the municipality's premises with a focus on quality, economy, and service. Our mission is broad – from housing supply and property development to social initiatives that strengthen the municipality as a whole.

The role of CEO
Being the CEO of Hyltebostäder means a multifaceted and community-oriented role with a strong focus on collaboration, leadership, and strategic development. You will lead an organization of approximately 25 employees and four subordinate managers, where your leadership is central to building a safe and stable operation.

The CEO is part of the municipality's management team and plays an important role in the best interests of Hylte municipality – together with other leaders who work for the whole and community benefit.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• leading and developing the operations in close collaboration with the board and the municipal group,
• ensuring an appropriate property portfolio and planning for new construction, maintenance, and renovations,
• contributing to the municipality's housing supply and development through both social and economic initiatives,
• being responsible for finances, budgets, procurement, and reporting to the board and municipal council,
• leading and developing Hylte municipality's district heating operations.

This role combines strategic work with everyday operational responsibility, and your ability to plan, prioritize, and collaborate will be crucial.

Your profile
We are looking for a brave, communicative, and unpretentious leader who can create engagement and participation. You are driven by development, have an easy time building relationships, and see collaboration as the path to success.

We believe you have:

• a university degree, preferably in public administration, economics, marketing, or behavioral science, or other education deemed equivalent,
• experience in leadership, preferably in politically governed operations,
• knowledge of public utility and property management,
• a good understanding of finance, budgets, public procurement, and board work.
• Experience leading in a municipal or corporate-like structure is an advantage.
