ABOUT THE POSITION

As a train attendant, you are the face of SJ Norrlandståg's night trains. You provide top-class service, assist passengers with information, and ensure that safety is always prioritized. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a train attendant, you will be part of a flexible everyday life with varying tasks. You will have the opportunity to take significant safety responsibility while delivering world-class service during the journey. On the night trains, you will act independently while having support from your colleague. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys both independent work and teamwork.

The job gives you a lot of freedom under responsibility where you will work with:

• Ensuring comfort on the trains
• Providing service to passengers both before and during the journey
• Conducting safety checks before departure
• Being responsible for serving in the bistro
• Ticket inspection at the train's departure and boarding
• Providing ongoing information to customers during service disruptions and deviations
• Noticing, handling, and reporting deviations before, during, and after the journey
• Ensuring that safety regulations and order rules are followed according to SJ's internal regulations

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has completed a three-year upper secondary education or similar experience that we assess as equivalent
• Writes and speaks fluently in both Swedish and English as the tasks require it
• Has previous work experience in the service industry

In addition, you will undergo a health examination before potential employment to ensure compliance with the requirements according to the Transport Agency's regulations, and a background check will be conducted.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience traveling by train.
