The Role of the Nurse

An important part of your work as a nurse with us is to see the patient, to be present, activate, motivate, and observe. Meeting the patient where they are and creating a picture of the person, in order to ultimately offer the right support and treatment interventions. Parents are an important part of the child's life, and collaboration and contact with them are also of great significance in daily work. We work with contact person assignments. Each patient has a nurse and caregiver as contact persons.

Your Future Workplace

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a regional clinic that has a common unit, One Path In (EVI), for telephone advice and triage to child and adolescent health as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. The clinic has three outpatient clinics: in Nässjö, Värnamo, and Jönköping. These provide specialized care to children and young people with mental health issues in 13 municipalities. The clinic also has a common care department, located in Jönköping, which conducts round-the-clock care, as well as an anorexia unit for outpatient and day care.

In total, the regional clinic currently has about 150 employees in various professions. Together, we meet children and adolescents aged 0-17 years with moderate to severe psychiatric conditions.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or graduating in June 2026.

To have the best possible summer planning, we view positively if you can work Period 1, weeks 26-29 and/or Period 2 weeks 30-33 during the summer. Introduction will take place outside of these weeks.
